|
Our Curriculum is centered on preparing your
child for kindergarten beginning at an early age. Our trained
teachers and staff focus on developing your child's cognitive,
social, and motor skills through play. We keep track of
your child's progress through child portfolios and assess
their learning through out the year. At the end of the year,
a teacher/parent conference is scheduled to discuss your
child's progress. Many parents are excited about their child's
portfolios!

|
Infant Stage:
Beginning at the infant stage, we teach our infant friends
simple sign language to enhance communication, give them
lots of tummy time to strengthen muscles, and love them
all day long! The learning doesn't stop here. Our infants
are bringing home masterpieces of art, drawings, and paintings.
We also help them learn how to crawl and walk!
|
Toddler Stage:
As your child begins to grow into the toddler stages, we
teach the children how to share, love, care, and be nice
to our friends. This foundation sets the stage for future
learning. They love to look at books, go outside, make art
projects, play with sensory items, stack blocks and of course,
knock them down! Toddlers are like sponges, soaking up everything
around them. Teaching toddlers these skills are important
to becoming a two year old.
|
Two Year Old:
Once transitioned into the two year old room, oh what fun
they have! At this age, many more new skills are being developed
and enhanced. This classroom focuses on fine motor skills,
counting, colors, shapes, cutting, and much, much, more!
Since they now have the foundation of sharing and caring,
they are able to sit next to their friends and socialize
among others. Their verbal skills are much stronger, they
are much more independent, and before you know it they are
going on the potty! This stage can be the most difficult,
however, our trained group of teachers can get your child
potty trained and when they turn 3 they are off to the Preschool
Room!
|
(3's, 4's, &
5's)
In our Preschool Rooms, our dedicated teachers and staff
have developed a well rounded curriculum incorporating letters,
numbers, shapes, and colors into their program. Activities
such as art projects, sensory projects, and circle time
allow children the opportunity to learn through play. We
also align ourselves with the McHenry School District standards,
and work with children to see them off into Kindergarten.
Children at these stages work on identifying the letters
of the alphabet, practice writing their names, use their
creativity and imagination, practice phonics, run and play
outside, develop good listening skills, learn Spanish, all
while learning through play.

| All programs and curriculum offered are continuously
integrated through out the planned activities from our quality
teachers and staff. Our philosophy is simple, loving children
all day long and preparing them for a lifetime of learning!
