Antioch Updates!!!

Construction began on April 7th 2012. The foundation is going in the week of April 30th, and then exterior walls will start to be erected. May will consist of all exterior building work and parking lot and playground area development. June will be all interior building work, sidewalks, paving and landscaping. The first two weeks of July will be used for setting up the classrooms, gym, kitchen and offices. We will also have all final inspections, and have our DCFS study. We want to officially announce our plans for a new location located on the corner of Rt. 173 and Deep Lake Rd. in Antioch Illinois. Once again we are teaming up with Travis Weirsma (the general contractor who built both the McHenry and Volo centers), and State Bank of the Lakes to purchase property and complete the construction.

We will be constructing a similar 8,500 square foot center as in McHenry, and will include 7 classrooms for infants through school age children, an indoor gym, a full service kitchen and an expanded playground. We are very excited about this project as we continue to follow our mission of providing the highest quality daycare centers at an affordable price to the families of McHenry and Lake Counties.

Our goal is to start construction as of July 1st 2011 and hope to be in the new building by November 1st. We will post our plans and building renderings as well as our progress on this new center on our website. We want to thank the many parents and staff whose continued support is allowing this project to happen.
